It is important that children bring beverages with them to school as the combination of humidity and air-conditioning can lead to dehydration, particularly in summer.

OIS has students in attendance from around the globe. Because of this it is important to be vigilant in regards to your child¡¯s health.
We ask that students exhibiting symptoms including but not limited to headaches, stomach aches, fever, vomiting, rash, pox, noticeable coughing, noticeable running nose or diarrhoea remain away from school until symptoms have passed. The foreigner friendly medical clinics on Geoje provides affordable prompt treatment and it is recommended that you visit there if your child displays signs of sickness.
The school reserves the right to send home sick children in order to ensure health and safety of both staff and students.

At OIS, we observe both morning tea and lunch. There are no vending machines onsite and we do not provide a lunch service, therefore it is important for children to attend school every day with both a healthy morning tea snack and lunch.
